Mowat arrived with Farley as week old male goats from the dairy industry. Like male cows, males are unwanted in the goat milk industry and they are usually sold for meat. At a week old, they inhabited our bathroom required bottle feeding 5 times a day! Two of their feedings were at 8pm and 12am so having them in our bathroom made this easier to do! Sometimes you will see Mowat wearing a collar as he is a free spirit and does not always like to listen! This helps us lead him towards breakfast and dinner without any detours!
