Large groups can overwhelm the animals. Their safety and comfort is of utmost importance. Also, we want to give you a very personalized experience, so for those reasons, groups are limited to a maximum of 6.
How many people can be in my tour group?
Large groups can overwhelm the animals. Their safety and comfort is of utmost importance. Also, we want to give you a very personalized experience, so for those reasons, groups are limited to a maximum of 6.
Can I bring my dog?
Please leave your pet at home. There is a dog (and four cats) on the farm that would not appreciate a newcomer.
Can I take photos?
Of course! We would be delighted if you would share any photos on social media by tagging us @thehappyherd. There’s a great selfie wall too!
Is the farm wheelchair accessible?
The main road into the farm is hard packed (not paved) and on a dry day may be suitable for a wheelchair. Most of the animals could be viewed from the main road. The animal areas however are soft, sometimes muddy and would not be accessible. We also have a golf cart on site that we could transport someone on if that would be helpful.
