Chili was born a triplet, but because of how she was positioned in the womb, her knee joints fused before birth, making it nearly impossible for her to stand.
At just 12 hours old, she arrived at the sanctuary from Country Oak Acres and from day one, this little girl has been determined to move.
With the help of pain management, aggressive physiotherapy, and a custom wheelchair, Chili has made progress but it is unlikely she will ever have normal mobility.
Despite these challenges, Chili is a happy, playful and sweet little girl. She needs constant supervision and bunks with her buddy Chloe, who she is especially bonded to.
