A Sweet and Carefree Star Gazer
Willow arrived at our sanctuary after being left behind at an auction; her buyer never returned and her previous owner did not want her back. She was only about a year old, very skinny, and still lactating—meaning she had been bred when she was just a few months old.
Willow is incredibly sweet and absolutely loves attention. And no, she is not pregnant, though her cute, round body shape might make you wonder! Her unique shape and her quirky habit of “star-gazing” (tilting her head to look up at the sky) can sometimes be signs of a contagious disease that spreads through milk. Fortunately, she has never shown any active symptoms and lives a happy, carefree life.
Today, she is a beloved member of our big goat herd, where she spends her days alongside her absolute best friend, quiet Elliot.
