Myrtle came to us from the same rural area as Patsy, where food was scarce and safety was uncertain. When it became clear she needed a secure place to land, a concerned citizen named Ray stepped in to help.
Soon after, Myrtle made her way to The Happy Herd, where she was given the care, stability, and open space she had been missing. She quickly settled in and showed us her curious, clever, and mischievous personality.
Today, Myrtle is thriving in sanctuary life and has formed an incredibly strong bond with Patsy. The two are often found exploring together, turning everyday moments into pure entertainment for the volunteers and caretakers who adore them. Here, Myrtle finally has what every pig deserves: safety, companionship, and the freedom to simply be herself.
